Vigil Team

A Catholic funeral is a time of sadness and mourning.  However, in the Catholic faith there is joy in the belief that a funeral represents the passing of the beloved into eternal life.

The Vigil Team provides a vital service to the parishioners of St. John Berchmans. Upon request, the Vigil Team will recite a rosary for the deceased.  The rosary is a contemplative, meditative form or prayer.  It is the best way to bring us to Jesus.  The rosary is in fact very much a prayer that focuses on Jesus Christ.
