parish 100th anniversary

CELEBRATION

We will be celebrating our 100th Anniversary as a parish with a special Mass of thanksgiving on Sunday, August 8, 2010 at 9:00am.  Bishop Oscar Cantu and other priests who have served our community in the past will also be coming.

After the Mass, we will have a reception in the school cafeteria.  Meal tickets are $10.00 per person/child.  Seating is limited so please come by the rectory office to purchase your ticket.  If you have any questions about the meal tickets please contact Linda Campbell at 210-445-7283 or the rectory office at 210-434-3247.

Our guest speaker is the Honorable JoAnn De Hoyos, Judge of County Court at Law #11.  Judge De Hoyos is a life-long member of our parish.

MEETINGS

To prepare for this we will be having meetings to discuss all the things we would like to have.  We are still in need of more people to help out with this big event.  If you are interested please come to our meetings.  Please see the weekly bulletin for a schedule of our meetings.


PARISH DIRECTORY

The Lifetouch Company will be here at the parish during January 2010 taking photographs of our parishioners.  Volunteers will be in the gathering area of the church after all Masses in December 2009 to sign up parishioners and their families.  Each family that is photographed will receive a FREE Parish Directory and a FREE 8X10 photograph.  Additional photos will be available but there is NO OBLIGATION to purchase them.  If you were not able to sign up after mass please call the rectory office to do so.
